STORYBOOK BALL AT BRIDGEPORT VILLAGE MALL BENEFITING DOERNBECHER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Be sure to mark your calendar or you will miss the fun on Friday
night, July 30, 2010, from 6:00-9:00pm at Bridgeport Village Mall. Come
see what all the excitement is about when the Storybook Ball turns an
ordinary space into a magical fairy tale destination!
Don't miss out on the excitement, come one, come all! Calling all
Princesses, Pirates, Mermaids, and Knights! Enjoy the enchantment when
you join us for the fun-filled Storybook Ball. Young and old are
encouraged to dress up as their favorite fairy-tale character and
celebrate the Storybook Playhouse Project with an evening you are sure
to remember. Food, entertainment and magic await!
The Storybook Ball kicks off with a feast sure to please, with food
and beverage stations that will whet your appetite for the fun to
follow! This magical evening will delight, excite and please all who are
lucky enough to attend!
Continue the party under the stars and under the big Gazebo! The
stage will be filled with entertainment and good cheer as merry
storybook characters fill Bridgeport Village and celebrate the
imagination! Grab your favorite storybook character and dance the night
away.
Who will win the prize for Best Costume? It could be you!
Be sure to stay for the finale as we present the winners of the
"Kids Choice Award" for the most colorful, best display of community
spirit, most kid-friendly design, most artistic, and best " go green"
playhouse designs. Kids Choice Award voting will starts July 24 and
goes through July 30. Don't miss your chance to vote during Grand
Opening week and then attend the Storybook Ball to find out the

Doernbecher Children's Hospital
This amazing project features a showcase of storybook themed playhouses designed and built by a select group of Portland's local architects and home builders. These child-size dream homes are fully furnished by professional interior designers and volunteers, with custom home details such as custom painting, eco-conscious floors and hand carved woodwork.
Each charming playhouse is a one-of-a-kind design, carefully crafted to enchant any child's imagination. Two playhouses will be awarded to lucky winners through a raffle drawing. The other playhouses will be given away to Portland children's charities.
